Q. How do I extend the antenna?

A. The antenna is fixed and cannot be extended.

Q. What if my phone is lost or stolen?

A. Contact your service provider immediately.

Q. Does the phone have to be on in order for me to receive a call?

A. Yes.

Q. What is my security code?

A. Your default security code is 12345. If you’ve changed your security

code and forgotten the new code, contact your service provider.

Q. If I lose or forget my number, or my service provider’s number,

what can I do?

A. You may be able to find the number for your phone by using the List

own numbers feature (under Settings > Phone settings > List own
numbers
).

Q. How do I lock the keypad?

A. Close the slide and press Lock keys.

Q. How do I unlock the keypad?

A. Open the slide.

Q. How do I keep track of my calls?

A. Use the Call log feature (see page 39).

Q. How do I turn off the ringer when I’m in a meeting or don’t want

to be disturbed?

A. Briefly press the power key (

), scroll to Silent, and then press the

roller.

Q. How do I download a custom ringing tone?

A. Download tones using SMS. Call your service provider for more

information.

Q. Sometimes when I use a shortcut, I get the following message:

. What does this mean?

A. Some features are dependent upon your service provider. If your

service provider doesn’t provide this feature, or it is not part of your
service package, you’ll need to contact them for more information
and to gain access.

Q. Where is my phone’s model number and IMEI number?

A. On the information label, which is located on back of the phone

(under the battery). The model number of this phone is 7190.

Q. How can I switch my phone into analog mode?

A. To use analog mode, you must have purchased and attached an

NRM-1 (AMPS) module, which is available as an accessory. See your
accessory brochure for more information.

Q. How can I change the contrast of my phone’s screen?

A. Go to Settings > Phone settings > Display contrast. Use the roller to

adjust the contrast.

Q. How do I clear my call timers?

A. Go to Call log > Call timers > Clear digital call timers. Enter the

security code at the prompt and press OK.

Q. How do I replace the slide if comes off?
